One of Bashar al-Assad’s personal bodyguards has reportedly claimed refugee status in Germany, despite being involved in perpetrating heinous crimes against Syrian dissidents, even arresting and handing over members of his own family to Assad's forces to be punished for their participation in anti-regime demonstrations.

Int'l body for observing and documenting Iran's crimes against humanity launched in Paris

A group of distinguished Islamic experts and jurists have launched the International Observatory for Documenting and Prosecuting the Crimes of Iran. Algerian Dr.Anwar Malek was appointed as the new Paris-based organisation's president, with another prominent Algerian official, Dr. Ismail Khalaf Allah, appointed as its legal director.
